Question 1: What should I expect for my first visit?

This consultation is all about you! In this session:

> We will take a history; we want to understand your story, your goals and what you would like to achieve through care.

> We will perform a thorough assessment of your muscles, joints, nerves and other relevant tissues. Ruling out any serious underlying issues.

> Refer for diagnostic imaging (if clinically indicated)

> Start your treatment plan if appropriate

Question 2: What treatments does a chiropractor do?

While different chiropractors may perform different techniques. Our practitioners utilise a multi-modality approach, incorporating different strategies, such as; chiropractic adjustments, soft tissue therapies, dry needling, myofascial cupping, exercise and rehabilitation therapies.

Question 3: Does chiropractic treatment hurt?

While most people can see an instant improvement in their pain, symptoms or movement directly following treatment. On the rare occasion, some may experience some mild temporary discomfort following treatment.

Question 4: What do I need to bring to my appointment?

Any relevant scans or testing results. Comfortable, loose clothing is recommended during appointments.

Question 5: How long does an appointment go for?

We recommend allowing 30-45 minutes for initial appointments and 15-30 minutes for follow up appointments

Question 6: What conditions does chiropractic help?

Chiropractic care can help with a broad range of neuromusculoskeletal conditions; however most people see us for problems relating to the neck, shoulders, back, hips, headaches, jaw and more.

Question 7: Do I need a referral to see a chiropractor?

While we accept referrals, a direct referral is not neccessary to see a chiropractor.

Question 8: Do we accept medicare, worksafe, TAC or DVA participants?

Yes we accept these referrals. Prior approval and documentation is required and should be forward to [email protected] prior to your first appointment.

Question 9: Do you provide out-of-business-hour appointments?

Yes we have early morning, afternoon and evening appointments available. We also provide appointments on Saturday morning & afternoon.

Question 10: What are our fees?

> Initial appointment fee is $114

> Extended appointment fee is $114

> Standard appointment fee is $90
